JIPT Hostel

It is a newly constructed hostel building and located within JIPT campus inside the premises of Jindal Power Limited. This building is a sprawling four-storied structure having North Wing & South Wing having 240+ twin-occupancy rooms. Each floor is equipped with facilities, such as water filter & cooler, a common room and TV, which creates a homely atmosphere. All hostel rooms have 24 hours internet access.

Hostel administration is managed by management of Jindal Power Limited and Hostel Advisory Council headed by the JIPT Director.

Women Hostel

The Institute has excellent residential facilities for girls students admitted to the various training programs. The Working women’s hostel is located inside the premises of Savitri nagar residential colony of Jindal Power Limited which is highly secured. All the essential commodities for smooth going daily affairs are available within the colony shopping complex.

JIPT Mess

JIPT mess operates on ‘no profit – no loss’ basis and caters to the taste of students & employees from all regions of the country. It can accommodate 100 person at a time. There are mess committees nominated from the students and employees. JIPT mess administration is managed by management of JIPT & Jindal Power Limited. Mess is equipped with Air Condition, Excellent Furniture, Purified chilled water and Television for entertainment. Mess are provided with steam cooking facility and fueled through gas. The food cleaning and cutting processes are being mechanized.

Transport

The Transport Section is managed by JIPT General Administration to help students, staff and administration.

JPL Plant Bus Service From Savitri Nagar Colony To Raigarh Are At Different Timings (04:30 Am & 06:00 Pm).
Making Noise/Passing Lewd Comments/ Spitting/Smoking Or Any Other Offensive Act Will Not Be Entertained By The Crew Or Co-Passenger. Students/Trainees Are Advised To Co-Operate With The Transport System.

JIPT (JPL) Dispensary is full-fledged unit is committed to provide Comprehensive Health Services with provision for four full time Residential Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, and Pharmacist etc. It has 2 state of art Occupational Health Centres located inside plant premises and our Urja Nagar are registered with CG Govt. under Nursing Home Act, Drug & Narcotic License under Drug & Cosmetic Act, in-house Bio-medical Waste Disposal Facility & is registered with CG Pollution Control Board. Apart from routine treatment, the Health Centers conduct Fitness & weight loss classes including Posture Correction Exercises.

Facilities:

Special Investigating Facilities include Digital X-rays [ 300 MA ], 3D Ultrasonography, Computerized Lab [ serum analyser / Haematology Analyser / Electrolyte Analyser ], Computerized Spirometry, Pure Tone Audiometry, Computerise 12 Channel ECG. 3 completely equipped air conditioned ambulances are always made available to cater to the transportation needs of critically ill patients who require referral or treatment at higher center.

Activities and engagements beyond academics are an equally important aspect of overall growth of an individual. The campus of JIPT also encompasses sports playgrounds and courts along with world class sports facilities and equipment.

In order to motivate the students out to get this interested in sports and build up good physique facilities for outdoor as well as indoor games have been arranged.
Outdoor games includes Volley Ball, Badminton, Foot Ball, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball, and Kabaddi. Flood Light facility is provided to all the outdoor games.
